1 Pound Down

only a gazillion more to go. ICK! It's kind of depressing, but kind of exciting all at the same time. I hate losing weight because it is soo slow. I like instant gratification! HA!

I didn't change too much other than not eating everything in site! I even had a cheeseburg this weekend...and it was SOO YUMMY!

I need to get on the band wagon seriously. This 1 pound could've been 3-5 pounds had I NOT had a cheese burger. What is wrong with me?!?!?!?!?!

I know...I LOVE FOOOOOODDDD!!!! HAHAHA!

Thanks for responding to my post yesterday. Sew...I know "friend to friend" ;)

Just to clarify - my stepsons do not live with me, nor were they raised with any kind of serious religion. There mom and dad were Mormon, but not very active. The boys don't believe much of anything really. It's sad.

I hope with my own babies, I can raise them to be...how did Sew put it "Catholic leaders of tomorrow"??. But yes, I want to raise cute little Catholic babies, who love the Lord and do not want to offend Him. But with these boys...I'm just trying to keep from becoming a grandma before I'm a mom. And no...i would never recommend the morning after pill or abortion. If they did get pregnant, I would DEFINITELY encourage adoption.

  1. I just like to tell people that I was one of the lucky ones. I was born in 1970 right before Roe. V. Wade became the law of the land. And, my biological mom had it as bad as it comes. But, she still, choose life! Wowzie. And, I am so grateful to be alive. So, adoption, yes! From one who was adopted, "It's a very good thing."

  3. I second Danya! Don't give up on those boys. I didn't have a very religious upbringing either.
I pretty much found church on my own. If it weren't for certain people God placed in my life when I was a teenager who knows where I would be. It's scary to think about it.

Good job on the pound! Every little bit counts! I started weig.ht wat.chers last week. Since all this IF bullhonky I've gained a ridiculous amount of weight. I lost 3lbs last week. It's super easy and if it's still going on, when you sign up for 3 months of the online one you get 2 weeks free! :)

  4. I need instant gratification too...if the scale doesn't say what I want I eat a box of cookies to show it who is boss! If it says what I want, I continue to try! Yes, I realize that doesn't make sense, but in my mind it does!! Good luck!

  5. My hubs was raised "nothing" too and he's a great catholic today! And consider slutty Augustine before his mama's prayers were answered and he became Saint Augustine! :)
CONGRATS on the pound. Next time you want a burger, pan fry or grill a veggie burger (find a kind you like... there are dozens these days and you're biund to find one you like) and top with cheese, sauteed shrooms, pickles, whatever.
It's so good! Bound to find, that is. My phone won't let me edit right now, haha!

  6. I love food too! It is so hard to lose the weight, and it burns me that it doesn't happen as fast as I want it to! Congrats on losing a pound! :) Keep praying for your step kids, my step son doesn't live with me either, but when he is here, we take him to church and every chance I get I bring up God and the Church and whatever else I can! :)
